04/11/16 Weekly Reflection

So far my cook book is sort of coming along nicely. I mean my project will reflect how much I work I put into it so. In due time everything should be pulled together. I am looking forward to have the finished product. It all takes a lot of time considering you don't want to choose the wrong recipes you want everything to be the best in one book. I am hoping for a number one best seller and who knows maybe in the future ill create another book.
Just so that I'm clear my cook book is Italian based except for one recipes which I did sort of a twist on and it is in the dessert section and I am pretty confident it will end up being one of the more popular items in the book I guarantee everyone will want to create their very own batch. ;))

04/04/16 Weekly Reflection

I recently viewed Tanisha's blog and her blog is very organized. She has all the right components but she needs to add more blog posts, well we all need to add more blog posts. Overall she has a good blog definitely B worthy. I would also say she needs to work on making her blog posts more lengthy and more detailed I would like to know more about her  groups research.  Depression is very interesting to me and I would like to be more informed.
As of my blog I am currently working on getting some visuals up for everyone it is taking me more time than I thought because I am very busy with work and my project is not really at that picture taking level just yet. I definitely need to add more color and more flashy words. I really want to grab everyone's attention. I want to spark peoples taste buds.

03/28/16 Weekly Reflection

At this point in my project I am not very far along due to lack of my interview questions. I am getting together some questions to ask my mom for my cookbook I have been preparing. She is my guide she sort of oversees my project because she is the greatest cook I've ever known. As of right now some of my interview questions involve topics that give advice on how to put together a great cookbook and what it should look it and what sort of illustrations should be present.
I also have finished putting together some of most favorite recipes for you guys, but I want them to be a surprise for the actually cookbook. I have decided on what my title book will look like and the name of my cookbook will be "Recipes that fill the Kitchen." Honest opinion, good title or not? Is it attention grabbing will people want to read it?

3/14/16 Weekly Reflection

At this point in my project I have hit a snag because I don't know how to put my cook book together yet. I don't know what order to put my recipes in and it is all presentation. If it does not look good on the outside and inside no one will want to buy it. I'll need to figure out a orderly way to put my book together that way everything will be easy to find.

3/07/16 Weekly Reflection

I have now chosen the font I want to use for my cook book. I chose very clear and very plain handwriting. I have started writing out all my recipes and connecting them to my memories. I have also decorated a little bit of the front of my cook book.

3/01/16 Weekly Reflection

So far so good. My cook book is coming along rather nicely. I have all my supplies and I have been doing some research on my family memories that connect with my secret recipes. I have been talking to a lot of my family to gather which recipes are the most unique. I am excited for what is to come!

2/29/16 Weekly Reflection

I created my pitch and I uploaded it to my blog. This weekend I went over what recipes I wanted to put into my cook book and how I will write them. I also bought some supplies and cool paper to create it, I plan next to interview family members to their share of recipes and memories with the food. My cook book that I am using is really inspiring me and helpful.
